Speech Therapy Partnership

We are excited to partner with Sidekick Therapy Partners. This partnership allows our students to receive speech services offered by Sidekick Therapy at Providence Academy during the school day. It’s important to note that while families will be financially responsible for the services, Sidekick does accept most insurance plans. We pray that providing a space and time for students to receive these services during the school day helps our families manage the many after-school activities we love to see students involved in.
Brittany Rushing, M.S., CCC-SLP currently serves as our Speech-Language Pathologist with Sidekick Therapy Partners. She graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2006 and received a master's degree from East Tennessee State University in 2008. She has over sixteen years of experience working with children and adults with speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive deficits. Brittany began working with students at PA 6 years ago and provides therapy services, including remediation of articulation disorders, language disorders, and phonological awareness deficits for students diagnosed with reading delays or dyslexia. Additionally, Brittany provides services to students with auditory processing delays and executive dysfunction.
If you are interested in having your child receive services during the school day, or to initiate the screening process, please fill out the new client outpatient paperwork and return it to the school office (Attn: Lindsey Mitchell) as soon as possible.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns. You can learn more about Sidekick Therapy Partners at www.mysidekicktherapy.com.
