- ABCya: Designed for students in grades pre-k through 6th. Free literacy, math, and critical thinking games.
- Reading Eggs: A comprehensive reading program made up of interactive games; designed for students, ages 2-13. $10 monthly subscription.
Online Programs for Reading Intervention:
- Teach your Monster to Read: Designed for students in grades K-2 to teach letters, letter sounds, and beginning reading skills. This game is completely free!
- OGStar Reading: $50 per child to download. This app contains 106 lessons and is designed for students in grades K-6. Students play games that move through a sequence of reading, phonics, and spelling skills. This app uses technology in multisensory ways and requires a student to use a touch screen device. You can download this onto either an I-pad or a Chromebook; not both. Go to www.ogstarreading.com for details about purchasing.
- Nessy: $12 per month subscription. Clicking on the “Reading and Spelling” section. This was developed at the Bristol Dyslexia Center by a team of specialists and is designed for students in grades K-6. The program begins with systematic phonics instruction and builds up to vocabulary, morphology, and comprehension work.
