PA secondary is departmentalized at all levels. Students in grades 7 and 8 are provided a broad curriculum, besides the core academic courses, that includes physical education, art, music, drama, and computer in 7th grade and physical education, art, music, and logic in 8th grade. Grades 9-12 meet the TN college preparatory graduation requirements, with every graduate receiving a college prep diploma. AP courses offered include AP English Language and Composition (Rhetoric I), AP English Literature and Composition (Philosophy of Literature), AP Calculus AB, AP Latin, AP U.S. History, and AP European History. Honors courses available to students include Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Chemistry, Physics, Advanced Biology, and Rhetoric II. In addition, we have elective courses in English, Math, the Social Sciences, Science, and Bible. Seventy percent of our secondary faculty have graduate degrees, and all are certified in the subjects they teach.
