The SGA Student Food Drive for Second Harvest Food Bank will be held Monday, September 28 - Friday, October 2.  Class teams will compete by bringing in canned food.  A complete list of items needed is attached. Food may be placed in the boxes outside of the classrooms or in the cafeteria (class teams will be posted on the wall by the designated space).  This year Second Harvest has teamed up with WJHL and area Hardees to promote the food drive. The Providence Academy Blitz Day will be held on Tuesday, September 29, at the Hardees in Boones Creek (across from Zak's Furniture).  Customers who donate at least 5 items on that day will receive a certificate for a free thick burger. In addition, WJHL has posted on their website student videos for the food drive. Please go to www.wjhl.com/food to vote for the Providence Academy video by October 6. The PA drama department created the video and will win a cash prize if selected. Thank you for your support of Second Harvest Food Bank!

Grandparent Chapel - 8:45 - Wednesday, 9/9

All parents and Grandparents are invited to join us for our Grandparent Chapel at 8:45 A.M. on September 9 in the gymnasium. Grandparents are a key part of the family, and this is one of two events each year where we make an intentional effort to honor and include our Grandparents. Earle Chute, a Providence Academy Founding Father, will be our chapel speaker.  He will reflect on the early years of the school. Remember that Deuteronomy 4 and 6 call for two generations to teach the next. Come join us in worship.  See you there!  Note: This will be a regular, full day of school for students.
