Congratulations to Our Math Olympic Winners

Congratulations to all of the students who participated in this year's ACSI Math Olympics, which was held Tuesday, March 29, at Concord Christian School in Knoxville.  Thirty-six Providence students in grades 3 - 8 were among the 250 students from seven schools that participated.  The following students were awarded ribbons.  In addition, first place winners who scored at least 85% in their category were also awarded a medallion. 

3rd Grade Computation:  Josh Gregory - 1st Place Medallion

4th Grade Computation:  Ben Garber - 3rd Place

4th Grade Reasoning:  Garrett Manuel - 2nd Place, Cole Marshall - 3rd Place

5th Grade Reasoning:  Caroline Koscak - 3rd Place, Hope Olds - 4th Place

6th Grade Computation:  Eden Huhn - 2nd Place, Emily Prieto - 3rd Place

6th Grade Reasoning:  John Hollowell - 3rd Place

7th Grade Computation:  Jessica Scarbrough - 2nd Place, Bethany Jones - 5th Place

7th Grade Reasoning:  Elijah Wilson - 2nd Place, Cambron Johnson - 3rd Place

8th Grade Computation:  Hunter White - 2nd Place, Merritt McKinney - 4th Place

8th Grade Reasoning:  Hannah Hollowell and Reid Smith (tie) - 1st Place Medallion
