Providence Academy Raises $55,000+ to Support Need-Based Scholarships with “A Knight to Remember” Dinner/Auction

On November 2, Providence Academy presented “A Knight to Remember,” a dinner/auction at the Holiday Inn, raising more than $55,000 to support the school’s need-based Annual Scholarship Fund.
The event—which included a buffet dinner and more than 250 silent and live auction items—also featured musical entertainment by Providence Academy students, including a performance by 3rd Grade student, Carson Peters, who is a renowned violinist/fiddler.
Among the items auctioned was a private jet vacation weekend for four to Nashville to see the Titans, the Predators, and the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular.  Other special items included student-created artwork of the Sistine Chapel ceiling, a marriage enrichment Caribbean cruise, a Pat Summitt autographed basketball, a handmade school spirit quilt, and a framed page from a 400-year-old Bible.
