Get Involved

Get InvolvedVolunteers are one of the visible aspects of the partnerships we have within the PA community. Alumni, parents, guardians, alumni parents, and grandparents volunteer their time. They use their Godgiven talents, skills, gifts, and enthusiasm to support our school.

For a parent, volunteering at PA is a wonderful opportunity to become part of your child’s school and PA family, while allowing him/her freedom and independence. As an alumnus/a, you can get reconnected to the Providence Academy and all it has to offer.

Opportunities are numerous and can be suited to your personality and availability.

Intl Host Family Volunteer

As an independent Christian school, we rely upon tax-deductible charitable gifts over and above tuition to cover the cost of land, bricks and mortar, and tuition financial assistance. We are grateful to you, our loyal supporters, for recognizing the value of Christian education in the lives of the children at Providence Academy and for supporting us through giving:

Annual private support:

  • Tuition Financial Assistance.
  • Major Capital and Endowment gifts.
  • Planned Gifts.
  • Gifts-in-Kind.

Gifts in any of the following forms:

  • Cash.
  • Appreciated Securities.
  • Employer matching gifts.
  • Property.
  • Charitable trust and annuities.
  • Bequests.

All non-cash and/or restricted gifts should be discussed in advance with a representative of the Development Office. We provide documentation for all charitable gifts. You should consult tax, legal and financial advisors to determine the tax implications and deductibility of any gift. Please contact Mark Koscak for questions regarding financial giving at 423-854-9819.

Stretching Your Dollars

Each program below generates revenue for Providence with dollars you already spend. These dollars are used to support the program for tuition financial assistance.

Box Tops for Education: When you are purchasing items to use in your home, look for the products that have the General Mills Box Tops for Education symbol on them. Cut out these symbols and turn them in to the school. Providence receives funds for each box top returned to General Mills. For full program details, go to

Ingles Tools for Schools: When you link your Ingles Advantage card to Providence, every time you shop at an Ingles store points are applied to Providence. Providence can then shop for school items from the Ingles program based upon the amount of points acquired. To link your Ingles Advantage card to Providence, follow the steps below:
