Scholarships

Annual  Scholarship Fund
Providence Academy provides scholarship support to families based on need.  During the 2006-07 school-year 15% of students will receive aid through the Providence Academy Annual Scholarship Fund.  Providence Academy uses an independent institution (F.F.N.A.) to confidentially determine need. Eligible families can receive up to 50% of their tuition via the Providence Academy Annual Scholarship Fund.

Scholarship funds are raised via gifts to the school, and are not a component of tuition.  This approach allows us to keep tuition as affordable as possible.

PA Board Direction for the Annual Scholarship Fund:The heart of our Board is for scholarship funds to be available to help Christian parents that would like to provide a Christ-centered and classical education for their children but are not able to because of financial needs.  The Board also desires to make the education of Providence as affordable as possible.  Consequently, Providence Academy does not include a component of scholarship in tuition. To achieve these two goals, the Board initiated the Providence Academy Scholarship fund.  This annual fund has become an honored tradition at Providence.  We are grateful to the families and friends that support this tradition, and we are excited to build His Kingdom - "One child at a time!"

Scholarship Endowment
Providence Academy recently established a scholarship endowment fund with the long term goal of enabling scholarship support to be provided in perpetuity through interest proceeds from the scholarship fund.  For more information on the Scholarship Endowment contact Mark J. Koscak the Development Director at (423) 854-9819
