2014 Christian Storytelling Festival
Two-time GMA Male Vocalist of the Year, Brandon Heath, will be the featured guest at the 2014 Christian Storytelling Festival held at Providence Academy on August 16, 2014, at 7:00 p.m. Join Brandon for an evening of worship as he sings and shares his testimony at the 8thChristian Storytelling Festival.
Brandon Heath is known for songs such as “Give Me Your Eyes,” “Your Love,” and “I’m Not Who I Was.” His most recent album, Blue Mountain, is a 12-track musical journey full of heart and back porch ease written in Heath’s signature style. He says, “I like to write story songs, and I like characters. I wanted to get out of myself a little bit on this one.” This latest collection opens the door to an intriguing locale, populated by saints and sinners, and overflowing with powerful truths and soul-shaking observations on life and humanity. Forgiveness, servanthood, and the power of grace are topics that have been woven throughout Brandon’s music, but never have they seemed to unite into a more potent musical offering than on Blue Mountain.
A Nashville native, Brandon began writing songs in his teens and gained a national audience with the release of his debut album, Don’t Get Comfortable. His warm, expressive voice and intuitive songwriting have earned him an enthusiastic fan base and the respect of his peers.
